Hubert volunteers his time as a Member of Edmonton Mayor’s Advisory Council on Business Growth and Opportunities; as the Executive in Residence at NAIT; as a Director of the Hong Kong Canada Business Association; and as a Director of the China Canada Business Association.

In 2023, Hubert received an Honourary Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
